You are all a bunch of Radical Leftists

Well, we have recently been told that McCain is not whining about the media.

Maybe that is so.

Maybe it is because he doesn't have to bother, since he has Robert M. "Mike" Duncan, Chairman, Republican National Committee to do it for him.

Not only is "Mike" Duncan whining about the media, he is whining about you: "the Democrats and their leftist allies".  Your "radical groups" connected with "Big Labor" and the "liberal Media".

This is what good-ole Mike thinks of you, as of about three minutes ago when it hit my Inbox:

Dear Chris,

It's now less than four months until Election Day 2008, and the Democrats and their leftist allies are unleashing their full arsenal of smear-and-fear tactics against John McCain and our Republican candidates.

With the help of Big Labor, radical groups like MoveOn.org, and George Soros and other left-wing billionaires, the Democrats have over a billion dollars to blanket America's airwaves with partisan, misleading attacks.

This is all on top of the fawning, one-sided coverage Barack Obama and Democrat candidates receive from the mainstream media.

Recently, The New York Times ran an editorial from Barack Obama spelling out his desire to withdraw from Iraq before victory is achieved.  When John McCain wrote a rebuttal against Obama's plan for defeat, the Times refused to print it, citing as their reason, "it would be terrific to have an article from Senator McCain that mirrors Senator Obama's piece."

What New York Times editors don't seem to understand is that John McCain doesn't base his positions on what the liberal media wants, but what he knows to be right for America.

If our candidates are to achieve victory this November, they must get their message of commonsense conservatism and principled leadership past the media filter and directly to the voters who will decide our nation's future course.

They need your help to do that.

Please make a secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 today to provide Republican candidates with the resources they urgently need to counter the Democrats' attacks and set the record straight.

The RNC is the ONLY Party committee permitted by law to directly support our Republican presidential nominee, John McCain.  The RNC also provides more financial assistance and campaign services to Republican candidates than any other Party organization.

We can't afford to let our opponents' media hype and pie-in-the-sky promises drown out our message of principled conservative government.  So please take a moment right now to make a secure online contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 and help our GOP candidates fight back against the Democrats' onslaught and set the stage for Republican victory today.

Sincerely,

Robert M. "Mike" Duncan
Chairman, Republican National Committee

P.S.  Chris, powerful leftist forces will spend whatever it takes to elect Barack Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket to impose their radical agenda on America.  Help us make sure they don't succeed by making a secure online campaign contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50 or $25 to the RNC today.  Thank you.

(And BTW, is "commonsense" even a real word?)

-chris

WOW, Mike thinks it's still 1995!

Let's not tell him it's the 21st century till Obama is sworn in, OK?

I was going to say something like that.
It sounded as if he left no old righth wing prefab unturned to get what I guess was his point across.

I'm not so sure... (2.00 / 1)

I believe he left the part out about "the evil environazis will kick you out of your house to create a national park!!!!" and the part that "if you don't donate to the RNC, the lesbian feminazis will destroy your marriage!!!!"

But hey, I guess I'm just too nitpicky... hehe ;-)

No way, no how, no McCain! :-)

Wow (2.00 / 5)

The Democrats only ask for $5 or more, the GOP lists $1000 first!

Guess that does make us radical leftists since we can't afford $1000 donations.  Their only real problem is that there are a whole lot more of us than there are of them. Thanks to their economic policies.

Re: Wow (2.00 / 1)

That part always irks me.

"How about $8.34, you pompous ass?"  Not good enough for you?  Well aren't you just so very-much "so"?

Don't give these folks a gun, they'd shoot thier foot off with it...

Oy.

If anyone here is still thinking of voting McCain (2.00 / 6)

...let this be a warning to them. He will only get power by trimming hard to the right.

That email smacks of complete desperation.

But don't be fooled. There are a LOT of rich people who want to keep their tax cuts, want to keep their privilege, want the majority downtrodden and their rampant bigoted values preserved. McCain is not their perfect candidate, but he's the best they've got and on many levels Obama's candidacy is frightening radical for them (though not to us)

If 50 people donate 20 dollars, that will match the millionaires who will willingly part with a thousand.

Let's get moving

(er.... as a Brit I can't donate. Can I reflate the American economy, or solve the credit crunch instead?)

Gees Chris, didn't you get the memo?

The economy is fine, stop whining.

Just shift your global assets into liquid funds, sell some of your overseas properties, play the futures markets a little harder....

Just ask Phil G., he'll clue you in.

At least he didn't call us (2.00 / 4)

"worse than Nazi's and the KKK" like Bill-O called "those Daily Kos wackos" and said that because Al Gore went to the NN convention it was "just like attending a KKK meeting" and so on...

I keep looking but I can't seem to find all the "Evil & Hate" that guys like O'Reilly keep railing about. Can somebody direct me please?

Re: You are all a bunch of Radical Leftists (2.00 / 3)

they are really desperate - "help our GOP candidates fight back against the Democrats' onslaught" - that's clearly on the defensive

by bushsucks on Wed Jul 23, 2008 at 06:26:20 PM EST

Well, what else can they say? (2.00 / 2)

Do they really want to talk about their "accomplishments" while in power? That would probably get folks looking at that email to donate... TO DEMOCRATS! ;-)
